I really wish CRP could bring this one out on DVD too (without cutting any songs like the Nottingham one!) as I've never seen it. From the CD it sounds like a fine, fine gig and I wouldn't mind having some picture to go with the sound!

Re: Ian Gillan - Live in Nottingham
Did I say anything about crap Christos?
means I just don't like what I see,
by the way,I wasn't at RAH and the footage
doesn't show him wearing it,but I have seen pictures and looks like a jaket and not a vest, even worse IHMO.
I prefere the sharp black suit he wore at the Mixico City Cocerto gig I attended.
Btw,when Dio sang his two songs backed by Purple it was awesome, the crowd erupted like I have never seen,I almost thought they ere going to riot, the Mexicans are fanatical about Dio,It was a scary but at the same time kind of funny moment, not a word of English could be heard except when Dio sang,

Re: Ian Gillan - Live in Nottingham
If he didn't dress so bad, maybe I would still be living in the 80's and putting image before the music,or atleast closer to the music than I do these days.
You got to admit that gold stuff is as daft as the red trousers.I don't necissarily mean the leather ones, but the godawful stretchy tailored stage wear pants.

But the one on the Ritz video is VERY golden!
But he doesn´t wear it for long, though.

Re: Ian Gillan - Live in Nottingham
Gillans kickstand had a blonde moment for a second and dillusionally chimed in with this tidbit of nonsense

Holy CRAPPPP!!!!
Have you been taking the wrong meds? What the hell are you talking about? Please elaborate and say it in English.
Let me see if I can cypher this incoherant rambling.
"If Ian Gillan didn't dress so bad"
So this implies that if he had good fashion sense..Ok with you so far
"maybe I would still be living in the 80's"
So..if he had good fashion sense, you might still be living in the 80's and putting image before music.
So..to algebraically deduce your reasoning you seem to be saying that if he dressed good, time would have stood still for you and you would put image before music.
But since he wore those silly red trousers and gold plated vests, this is the reason you have put music before fashion.
OK..I get it now...I think. I just have to re-fill my prescription with Bad Mofo.
